What We Are Looking For In You?

You will represent CodeGen’s flagship Travel Technology product TravelBox™ globally, with a focus on developing and executing business development strategies.

Responsibilities

Plan, execute and manage the direct sales strategy for TravelBox™ and identify new business opportunities for market expansion globally

Find, assess, and formulate a comprehensive customer database for each of the identified market segments in the travel and tourism industry for lead generation.

Conduct detailed market research and share actionable insights to understand the vital gaps and required product enhancements to standardise the travel technology product portfolio

Recognize and understand the USPs, benefits, value-added services of the existing product portfolio to both enterprise and SME businesses and sell the current travel technology solution as it is with the least customizations.

Network and build long term relationships with global brands and distributors through partnerships and reseller programs to increase market share globally

Prepare and track customer opportunities and deploy effective targeting mechanisms to reach a highly relevant audience to promote the TravelBox™ product suite to key decision-makers

Document and share insights on competitor product features, service level and system deployment process etc

Work closely with product development, business analysis and marketing teams to ensure the right product is offered to the right customer base via the most effective channels

Continuous follow up with the targeted clientele to generate interest and increase conversions via direct sales

Account management for new and assigned clients, including pre-and post-sales client success management

Conceptualise and present pitch decks, collateral and product proposals tailormade to suit the business requirement of the potential customer base

Weekly and monthly reporting of all business development activities while ensuring quarterly and annual objectives and results are met

Pre - Requisites

An experienced and passionate individual with 2 to 3 years in business development with a proven track record

An interest in Marketing and Business fields. CIM or CIMA will be an added advantage

Excellent communication skills in English to effectively engage with C-level personnel and the ability to converse in Sinhala effectively

Ability to learn and clearly articulate the technical and business benefits of the technology product portfolio

Strong aptitude and interest in emerging and current information technology

Be an active participant in societies such as AIESEC, Rotaract etc

Great problem solver, analytical thinker, fast learner, and go-getter in nature
