CodeGen Ltd launched its latest travel technology solution, TravelBooker, designed for travel agencies and powered by Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Utilising state-of-the-art web design principles to optimise the web journey of B2B and B2C users, TravelBooker software is a cloud-based software as a service (SaaS) platform that offers a unified marketplace to curate the best holiday product for travel agencies around the world.

TravelBooker, now available on Oracle Cloud Marketplace, offers an end-to-end product management solution and booking platform that includes flights, hotels, activities, transfers, car hires, insurance, cruise, and manual item flows. Travel agents can now manage rates, assign rules based on prioritisation, aggregation, pricing, discounts, and promotions via a seamless agent portal. Moreover, TravelBooker’s inbuilt caching technology allows travel businesses to manage high volumes of search results and supports white labelling, enabling travel agents to explore new markets and maximise revenue.

TravelBooker B2B software enables travel agents to digitalise and transform business operations. In addition, the B2C solution and the corporate booking tool can be easily integrated as supplementary modules on demand. “Travel technology is at the core of our investment. We rely on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to extend our high-performance travel technology product suite to any travel business, no matter the size. Our latest TravelBooker SaaS product powered by OCI enables CodeGen to extend a new and agile service to the travel industry, enriched with vital components to run a comprehensive travel agency business. With OCI, TravelBooker becomes a sustainable investment for travel agents such as Classic Travel to digitalise and transform their entire travel business with the latest technology to thrive in the new normal industry dynamics,” stated CodeGen Ltd Vice President Yohan Welikala.

Classic Travel Chief Executive Officer Shiham Imamudeen stated, “The travel industry is transforming rapidly, now even more with the change in market dynamics due to the pandemic. As an organisation we have always been at the forefront of technology and launching a fully integrated travel platform was a vital goal. We believe that TravelBooker will truly position Classic Travel as a one-stop travel retailer giving us a great sustainable competitive advantage. Our aim is to focus on our consolidation journey in continuing to advance our market leadership in the travel and tourism sector by offering value and convenience to our customers. Customer experience is our single most important focus.”

“CodeGen’s end-to-end fully connected travel technology platform will enable Classic Travel to offer differentiated travel products and make products available to any of our partners in real-time. We believe that CodeGen is a global industry leader in travel technology with very strong domain expertise, making our transformation journey more effective and efficient.” Imamudeen, further commented.

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is a broad public cloud service platform that enables organisations to build and run a wide range of applications in a scalable, secure, highly available, and high-performance environment. OCI is built for enterprises seeking higher performance, lower costs, easier cloud migration for their existing on-prem applications. Its self-repairing and self-optimising autonomous features leverage machine learning to automate routine tasks, freeing more time to build enterprise applications.

“The pandemic has had a profound impact on the hospitality industry and continues to redefine the future of travel. In such a context, Codegen is leveraging Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to help improve the performance and scalability of its SaaS platform to enable the travel agencies to service their customers even better,” said Nalin Sikurajapathy, Head of Technology – Sri Lanka & Maldives, Oracle.
