The operator said the new platform would enable agents to provide customers with more choice and a greater breadth of product, together with ‘unrivalled’ flexibility thanks to its live flight pricing on scheduled airlines.
David Binns, head of product, commented: ‘Our new reservations systems allows us the flexibility to tailor bookings to suit our customers’ individual requirements, such as upgrading cabins, booking business class seats, adding extra hotel nights or booking back to back tours or cruises.
‘Ultimately, we will be able to offer agents bespoke, fully bonded tours and cruises.’
For bookings made before 19 December, the operator’s ‘Start in Style’ private door-to-door home pick-up service will be included in the price of all holidays in the North America & Worldwide brochure.
Customers will be driven in a private chauffeur-driven car to the airport and given assistance with luggage to the terminal building, and then be met in the arrivals area on their return and driven home.
To help agents sell the most suitable style of touring holiday, the new programme has broken down into a number of categories.
The choice includes tours suitable for single travellers with larger more social groups (Classic Touring), those wanting a relaxed pace with fewer hotel changes (Leisurely Touring) and smaller group touring with more off the beaten track sightseeing (Small Group Touring).
Also available is Tour & Cruise, combining the best land and cruise holidays, and the premium range, Select by Globus.
Agents making any booking from the North America & Worldwide brochure between 4 and 31 July will receive a £25 Love2Shop voucher.
